{"id":506,"date":"2022-04-11T22:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T22:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lolaandyukaomeet.com\/yukao\/?p=506"},"modified":"2023-12-17T20:33:42","modified_gmt":"2023-12-17T20:33:42","slug":"yn-ateliers-portatifs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lolaandyukaomeet.com\/yukao\/blog\/2022\/04\/11\/yn-ateliers-portatifs\/","title":{"rendered":"Ateliers portatifs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Julien Malaussena (composition), Duo XAMP (accord\u00e9on) &amp; Yukao Nagemi(dessin performatif)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/lolaandyukaomeet.com\/yukao\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2022\/04\/pic-LYM-atelPort-11-21-2017_22-10-17-0058.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lolaandyukaomeet.com\/yukao\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2022\/04\/pic-LYM-atelPort-11-21-2017_22-10-17-0058.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lolaandyukaomeet.com\/yukao\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2022\/04\/pic-LYM-atelPort-11-21-2017_22-10-17-0058-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lolaandyukaomeet.com\/yukao\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2022\/04\/pic-LYM-atelPort-11-21-2017_22-10-17-0058-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ateliers Portatifs (extracts)\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/245489132?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>ateliers portatifs<\/em> (hommage \u00e0 Bernard Guerbadot) is a composition of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/julien-malaussena\" target=\"_blank\">Julien Malaussena <\/a>for two microtonal accordions. <br>It was interpreted by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/duoxamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">XAMP <\/a>(<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/fannyvicens.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fanny Vicens <\/a>et <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/jesotty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jean-Etienne Sotty<\/a>) together with a visual performance of <a href=\"http:\/\/yukaonagemi.com\">Yukao Nagemi <\/a>at Soir\u00e9e <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ensembleinfuse.com\/infuse-presente.html\" target=\"_blank\">Infuse pr\u00e9sente<\/a>: eXtended accordion avec XAMP, Espace des Arts Sans Fronti\u00e8res (Paris) on Nov 21, 2017 (video capture <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/lola.ajima\" target=\"_blank\">Lola Ajima<\/a>). <br>Soir\u00e9e <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ensembleinfuse.com\/infuse-presente.html\" target=\"_blank\">Infuse pr\u00e9sente<\/a> is organized by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/nissim.schaul\" target=\"_blank\">Nissim Schaul <\/a>and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/masha.lankovsky\" target=\"_blank\">Masha Lankovsky.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visual composition was inspired by Bernard Guerbadot&#8217;s artistic world (see for example Tristan Tr\u00e9meau&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/tristantremeau.blogspot.fr\/2015\/02\/bernard-guerbadot-la-part-de-lil-2015.html\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a>) pointed to me by Julien Malaussena. I made my own &#8220;restitution&#8221; of Guerbadot&#8217;s work in a drawing based on three vertical lines guided by the movement of train during a trip from Etampes to Guillerval (each vertical line looked similar to the profile of a sound amplitude enveloppe). I used these lines to create the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"media\/com_unite_gallery\/1512220300_---ateliers-portatifs-score-2017-med.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">visual score <\/a>below which was then divided into as many areas as parts I had defined in Julien Malaussena&#8217;s piece (20). Each area is materialized by a dotted rectangle. Its surface is proportional to the length of the corresponding musical part. It is located in a zone of the drawing associated with the musical atmosphere to which it belongs (glissando, engine sound, drone, or doppler effect). The graphical content of these parts was then organized on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"media\/com_unite_gallery\/1512220308_-teliers--ortatifs-drawing-geometry-med.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">surface<\/a> below to guide my ink on paper drawing during the performance and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"media\/com_unite_gallery\/1512371853_-teliers--ortatifs-drawing-layout-med.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">additional effects and automatic motions <\/a>were added based on the four musical atmospheres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full performance capture is available on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/248812811\" target=\"_blank\">Vimeo<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Julien Malaussena (composition), Duo XAMP (accord\u00e9on) &amp; Yukao Nagemi(dessin performatif) ateliers portatifs (hommage \u00e0 Bernard Guerbadot) is a composition of Julien Malaussena for two microtonal accordions.
