Welcome to La Maison Les Météores, an artist résidence space located in Burgundy at the outskirts of the little medieval city Clamecy in Nièvre, France.

Located on the hill top of a former chalk quarry with a beautiful view, dwelling in the valleys of the rivers Beuvron and Yonne, it offers space and inspiring nature surroundings for various artistic activities and a permaculture vegetable garden.

The space is mainly oriented towards digital audio-visual live performance, but writers, classical and experimental music/sound art, visual artists and other types of stage performance are welcome as well.
We have a special interest in projects dealing with environmental issues and sacred art.

La Maison Les Météores is hosting many of the activities of the French association Les Météores and is the heart-work of the franco-danish artist couple Christian Jacquemin (Yukao Nagemi) and Boe Przemyslak (Lola Ajima) in the audio-visual duo Lola and Yukao Meet.
After many years living in big cities and of playing many different festivals around the world with their audio-graphic live performances, they wanted something different. Something more grounded. Something closer to nature and shared experiences.

Following their dream to create a home for an artistic life with focus on simplicity and calm, being close to nature and mutual inspiring encounters, they spent three years renovating the house and making it suitable to open up to share with other like-minded artists.
